Getting around Melissa
US-75 (Central Expressway) runs directly through and past Melissa. It is the city's spine and its single biggest commuting advantage over freeway-less neighbors like Lucas and Murphy.
Melissa is one of the last US-75 exits before the Grayson County line, which is the plain way of saying: you are at the northern edge of the metro.
